Child safety standards
Last updated 7 October 2026
Nights Off is an adults only dating service. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Our standards
- Members must be 18 or over. Accounts declaring an age under 18 are refused, and age is re checked every time two people are matched.
- Content or behaviour that sexualises, endangers or exploits children is prohibited and results in immediate suspension.
- Members can report any profile or conversation in the app, including a dedicated "may be under 18" reason. A person reviews every report, can see the reported context, and can suspend the account. Every action is recorded in an audit log.
- Photos are screened automatically before anyone else can see them.
Reporting and cooperation
We remove CSAM as soon as we become aware of it and report it to the relevant authorities, including the Australian Centre to Counter Child Exploitation (ACCCE) and, where applicable, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). We cooperate with law enforcement requests made through proper legal channels.
Contact
Our designated child safety contact is Lachlan Irving, an individual developer based in Australia: hello@example.com.
